Autowerkstatt 4.0
The project is researching differentiated error diagnosis for vehicles, based on machine learning models verified by DEKRA.
Details | |
Period: | January 2022 - December 2024 |
Objectives: | Our aim is to provide differentiated diagnostics based on the measurement of electrical field variables, for example in the engine compartment. This process has so far been time-consuming and the interpretation of the measurement data requires a great deal of experience on the part of the user. In the "Autowerkstatt 4.0" project, this process is to be significantly simplified through the use of AI and machine learning methods in order to enable targeted, resource-efficient and cost-effective repairs. To this end, a system consisting of measurement sensors, a web interface for connection and a cloud-based server infrastructure for the automated interpretation of measurement data using a classification algorithm is being developed. This system will then be used in several workshops, evaluated and further optimized. The result is an easy-to-use system for simple measurement data recording, which provides the user with a diagnostic suggestion for the recorded measurement data with a high level of specificity in real time. |
