DEKRA to showcase concepts and solutions at 2023 Hannover Messe
Safe Energy with Zero Emissions
At the 2023 Hannover Messe trade show, DEKRA will be exhibiting innovative solutions for safe and sustainable energy solutions of the future. The DEKRA experts will be available to meet in Hanover, Germany, at the Energy Solutions Exhibition Zone (Hall 12) from April 17 to 21. The testing and certification organization will be focusing in particular on electric vehicles and the hydrogen economy.
Hydrogen technologies will play a pivotal role in the effort to combat climate change. DEKRA believes that fossil fuels can be phased out by ushering in a hydrogen economy. In the future, green hydrogen will be used as a universal energy resource and zero-emission fuel. The hydrogen economy integrates renewable energy, such as solar and wind power, with the energy-consuming transportation, industrial, and heating sectors.
Using renewable sources in the form of wind power, solar energy, biogas, and hydrogen technologies forms a complex process in terms of design, construction, and safe operation. In this context, independent DEKRA expertise is in demand for all safety and sustainability considerations throughout the product or system life cycle, including safety and risk analyses, inspections, conformity assessments, and certifications.
Another highlight from DEKRA at this year’s Hannover Messe will be electric transportation, putting safe charging infrastructure and safe, reliable use of electric vehicles front and center. EVs are a booming market worldwide, which presents a challenge for both the industrial and service sectors. Against this backdrop, DEKRA offers advisory and training services around the use of high-voltage systems in motor vehicles.
DEKRA will be working in partnership with Baden-Württemberg International again at the 2023 Hannover Messe:
